Grandpa a few years ago at Thanksgiving.

Above: He and my Grandma come down from Missouri every Thanksgiving with Aunt Dana and Uncle Bill in their motorhome. It's always fun!  Anytime we're with him we always play the game Rummikub, he wins most of the time too. Looks like he fell asleep when they were watching the football game. LOL!

My Grandpa was the Greatest! I love him so much! I still can't believe he's gone allthough I'm glad he's not suffering anymore, and that he's gone to a better place. I'll never forget all the times I got to spend with him. Especially the last time I was with him, May 30, 2004. He was laying in his hospital bed and my dad and I just walked in the room. I sat down beside him and he held out his hand to me. My Aunt Dana said he REMEMBERS YOU. It made me feel really great that he remembered me before everyone else. He kept looking at me and mumbling words but we couldn't understand him because the stroke had paralyzed the whole right side of his body, and his throat. He seemed like a baby sitting there trying to speak. He kept holding my hand and squeezing it and playing Thumb War. He'd also make a gun with his index finger and point it at you and wink his eye. Just like he always did. He'd make you laugh! I really miss him!
